Writing And Publishing Daily Articles For Two Years Straight - Lessons And Thoughts From The Journey (So Far)

January 1st 2023.

I Made a Decision.

I was going to Write, Edit, and Publish an Article...

Every Day.

Including Weekends and Holidays.

It is Now Day 732, Including this Article today, and I have Kept that Streak Going.

I Figure Out What to Write on the Day I Write.

I have No Drafts.

I Do Not Schedule Articles.

I Do Not Use AI to Write "Any" Part of My Articles.

I Simply Sit Down.

Write.

Edit.

Publish.

It has been quite the Journey to get here Today.

There have been a few Close Calls along the Way.

Some Very Early Days.

Some Very Late Evenings.

But I have Kept Going.

Nearly 650,000 Words Written.

That is enough to fill 8 and 14 Non-Fiction Books (On Average).

It is Crazy to think that I have come this far.

There was a Time when I Struggled to Write a Single Article over Months.

I Struggled to Even Imagine that I could Fill a Single Book, let alone Multiple Books Worth.

Not to Mention the Accomplishments that have Occurred.

In 2023, I had 20 Awards I Won or was Nominated For.

In 2024, I had 72 Awards I Won or was Nominated For.

Some of those placed me in Magazines, including on the Cover.

I became the #1 Creator on Multiple Platforms.

On Typeshare, I hold the #1 Streak and have held the #1 Signal Position.

On Vocal, I am #1 in both the Journal and Psyche Communities.

All things that still feel incredibly odd to say.

I Never Started this Journey for these Things.

They Still Are Not the Focus.

Really, I was just looking for a way to Market my Coaching Business and Services.

But I ended up Receiving so much more.

Along the way, I have Learned to Communicate Significantly Better.

I've found a way to Clear My Mind in a Positive and Meaningful Way.

Even though my work usually falls into "Non-Fiction", I have found ways to be Creative with my Work and make it Fun.

As I have gone along, I have been able to Write More in Less Time.

I used to Struggle to Write 250 Words in an Article.

Now, I regularly Write Articles over 1,000 Words.

But there's more to it than just Writing.

I have Learned More about My Work and My Industry by Writing About It.

It is Interesting because, even though I was very competent with my Work when I began Writing, it Feels Like I have Reached New Heights "Because" I Wrote So Consistently.

Really, by Writing, I have Forced Myself to Deeply Understand My Work and it has allowed me to See Things Differently.

Both the Good and the Bad.

It is Why my work has Evolved from Leadership to Sageship.

To Write that much, you've got to Break Ideas Down and Build Them Up.

It's Not Enough to Know Them, You've Got to "Live" Them.

It's the Only Way to Be Able to Consistently Write.

At least, to Write in New and Interesting Ways.

That is Why I talk about Being an Exemplar.

It is within this that I have Also Learned to Apply the Same Principles to Other Aspects of my Life.

It is called the "Halo Effect".

My Ability to Learn has Improved and Expanded.

My Diet has Improved.

With this, I have Improved My Fitness as Well.

By Focusing on Improving One Aspect of Your Life, You Indirectly Begin to Improve Other Aspects of Your Life.

Even without "Focusing" on them.

It makes me Excited to think about what will come over the Next Year of Writing.

I made a Commitment at the Beginning of last year to go for 1,000 Days Straight, and I will reach that Goal this Year.

Of Course, Once you get to a Certain Point, it becomes a Part of Your Life.

I have the "Goal" of 1,000 Days really just to Keep Myself Accountable.

But it Is Not About the Goal Anymore.

It is a Way of Being.

I have No Idea where this Journey will End, but I Hope It Never Ends.

This is my Wayset.
