So you want to Accomplish A Large Number of Things?
I get it.
So do I.
So do most people.
If we all had our way, we would Add More Time to our Days so that we could Fit Every Single Whim that we want to Accomplish into Every Day.
But, we Live in a Reality where we Must Accept a Simple Truth.
We All Only Have 24 Hours in a Day.
Only 7 Days in a Week.
Only 52 Weeks in a Year.
Only as many Years as we are Gifted before the Sands of Time Run Out.
Then it is Over.
The Single Largest Regret that people have on their Deathbed...
Not having Lived Enough.
Not having Attempted to Go After Something.
Getting to the End, Having Never Gotten What They Wanted Out of Life.
But there are other people who Seem to Live Lifetimes in a Single Lifespan.
Always Doing More.
Always Enjoying Life.
Always Making Progress.
How can this be?
How is it that some People Appear to Fit "More" into the Same Amount of Time?
How can One Successfully Juggle Multiple Tasks and Goals Simultaneously?
Well, there are some things you can do that Allow You to Live More Life and Progress in ways that Most People Find Unfathomable.
One Key is to Do Only what "Needs" to be Done.
We live in a World where many people try to reach Perfection in Tasks or Try to Quicken the Timeline on Projects.
But here's the Reality.
"Perfection" does not Exist.
Most Projects Lose Quality when Hastened Too Quickly.
Both of these Paths End with Projects Failing.
With Perfection, you Waste Too Much Time on things that Require Experience.
With Quickening, you Miss Details and have to Backtrack Significantly, Wasting Time, Energy (Mg-ATP), and Resources along the way.
In today's world, these are all things we Cannot Afford to Waste.
With the Pace of Today's World, Backtracking can set you back Years if you are Not Careful.
Many "Top" Companies Today are in "Extreme" Backtracking Modes, with some that have been set back Decades.
In many cases, their Doom is Written on the Stones, only waiting for the Slightest of Change to send them into Extinction.
The Key is that you must Focus on what You "Need" to do Today.
What is Non-Negotiable?
It is not about what would be "Nice" to Accomplish.
It Not about what you Physically Could "Muscle Through".
What "Must" be Accomplished.
Then, Focus on Only that.
"If" you have Extra Time, Energy (Mg-ATP), or Resources at the End of the Day (Without Sacrificing Recovery), only "Then" can you go Further.
I had a Moment like this Today where I really "Wanted" to Progress Significantly through a Certification, "But" there were Other Things (like Writing This) that I still "Had" to Do.
Plus, I am Ahead on the Certification, which gives me the Ability to Allow what I've Learned to "Sink In" (so I do Not need to Backtrack).
Only Focus on What "Needs" to be Done.
Then the Next Key is to Ask, Honestly, what You Must Accomplish in Your Lifetime to Give Your Life Value.
Once You do this, Focus In.
If something is "Not" what You "Must" Accomplish, then Save It for a Period of Recovery or Never Do It!
Many People Lose the Opportunity to Live because they Waste their Lives on Things that Provide No Value to their Lives.
They take the Most Valuable Asset, Time, and Spend It On Things that will be Worth Less than Pennies when they Die.
If you Truly want to Live Life, then you Must Treat Time as the Valuable Resource that it is.
What is going to Provide the True Value that you Seek?
Then, if you Deeply want to Maximize Time, Find Flow States.
This is where we Feel Our Best, Do Our Best Work, and are Most Productive.
There is something Extremely Interesting that I have Found when it comes to Flow States.
Albert Einstein said that Time is Relative.
Something that I hear from Most People is that Time is "So" Fast.
There's Never Enough.
Yet, Time is Different in Flow States.
It always Feels Like there is Time.
Time Begins to Become Your Ally.
When I think about the Past 3 Years, it "Feels" Longer than My First 21 Years of Life.
If I look at my List of Achievements, It "Looks" like that too.
Why?
Consistent Flow States.
As I Experience Flow More Frequently...
And I See Others' Lives Without Similar Levels of Flow...
I Realize that Flow States are a way to make Time Relative to Our Goals.
We Do Need to "Point" Flow in the Right Direction, but when we Do, Time Never Feels Like It Is Against Us.
Flow makes Time Our Ally.
When we Get Into Consistent Flow States, and we Aim that State at what "Must" Get Done and What Brings "Value" to Our Lives...
Suddenly Everything Gets Done.
For Most People, Myself Included, You can Accomplish "More" than you Felt Possible.
This is the Path to Get Everything Done.
