That gave them a significant advantage when it comes specifically to spreadsheets.

You usually dominate the current market for as long as that market is relevant...
Because due to human behavior, it is rare for people to switch to an alternative unless they believe it is significantly better.
But this is what is important to understand...
They do not stay because they "want" to stay...
They stay because they do not "yet" see a better alternative.
But when a better alternative comes...
Where do people go?
Always, they will seek to run from what they know they cannot trust.
Now, what many organizations are struggling with...
Is that they have lost the trust of everyone...
Their customers and clients...
Their suppliers...
And even their employees.
The result...
These organizations see changes in coming within their industries...
And they are desperate to win the new industries that are coming...
But they have caused so much damage...
They are struggling.
They are discovering that they can no longer attract what they need...
Because no one trusts them.
People are turning to alternatives...
Desperate to flee...
And nothing these organizations are doing are able to change that.
The damage is done.
Trust is lost.
The truth is...
Many of the organizations that are "succeeding" today...
Are a step away from losing everything...
And they did it to themselves...
By destroying people's trust in them.
