The Plan We Never Want To Make And Avoid Moving Into The Future - But The Plan That We Must Always Prepare For

The Plan We Never Want To Make And Avoid Moving Into The Future - But The Plan That We Must Always Prepare For

It is True that We, as Humans, have Accomplished so many Truly Amazing Things.

Plans have been Enacted that have Changed the Face of the Planet.

Changed the Fate of Mankind.

It is Awe Inspiring.

Yet, within this Reality, there is an Extreme Danger that We Must Become Acutely Aware Of as We Face the Future.

Hubris.

Forgetting How Truly Fragile Our Progress Is Within Reality.

How Quickly It Can All Be Lost.

When You have Something So Dearly Precious...

But We Have Been So Close To It...

For So Long...

We Forget.

What Life was like Before We Had All of these Things.

We Begin to Believe that we are Above Everything simply because We have Glimpsed things Others have Not.

But the Problem with a Glimpse?

It Does Not Even Come "Close" To The Complexities that Exist within Reality.

Yet, when You "Believe" that the Glimpse "Is" Reality...

You Make Mistakes.

You Make Errors.

You Fail.

The More Extreme that the Stakes Become?

The More Catastrophic the Results.

This is Highlighted Very Well in the Jurassic Park and World Movies.

Mankind Believes they are Greater than the Dinosaurs.

They Create Dinosaurs to turn them into a Theme Park Attraction.

The Dinosaurs Inevitably Escape.

People Die.

Despite the Warnings Made by Multiple Characters throughout the Series.

The Precautions that are Never Taken.

Why?

Hubris.

People Fail to Plan for the Worst Outcome.

They Avoid thinking about the Worst Case Scenarios of the Actions they Take.

Then, the Worst Happens.

Often, Significantly Worse than Even Imagined.

Now...

That's Just A Movie...

Right?

In Reality, we still see this Happen.

It is Not Unique to the Movies.

It happens, perhaps even More Frequently in Reality than it does in the Movies.

The Only Difference is that, typically, the Stakes are Significantly Lower.

Or, at least they Appear to be Lower Stakes.

But are they Really?

I look at the Lives that We have Designed for Ourselves.

Are the Stakes Truly Lower?

We Play Mad Scientists with our Food Supply.

With our Air and Water.

With our Environment.

With our DNA.

Not only Ours, but also with other Plants and Animals.

We Avoid thinking about the Consequences and Potential Dangers.

But At What Cost?

Despite All of our Ingenuity and Discoveries We have Made as Humans...

We are Still Horribly Failing.

We Still Only Understand a Glimpse.

We look at the Nutrients in our Foods, but only Understand Less than 1% of what they Do...

Without Accounting for Their Interactions with Each Other...

Positive or Negative.

We Trust Research...

But there is a Large Problem with Fake Research and Even AI Research, which Threatens Potential Model Collapse...

The Research is often based on "Averages" of a Profoundly Sick Society...

The Medical and Wellness Industry is Designed on a Model of Physical and Emotional Addiction, Subjugation, and Psychological Abuse which works similarly to a Pyramid Scheme...

What is the Result of All of This?

A Loss of Our Natural Resilience.

Sickness, Disease, and Psychological Challenges similar to those of Zoo Animals.

This is Not Even Looking Deeply into Energy, Warfare, AI, or Genetics.

This is the Reality We have Created for Ourselves in our Hubris.

The Problem?

We Are Not Preparing For Things Going Wrong.

We Push Boundaries without Questioning...

Without Considering...

The Potential Consequences.

But the Reality Always Has Been...

And Always Will Be...

That Things "Will" Go Wrong.

Things "Are" Going Wrong.

Whether We Accept It Or Not.

The Reason that this Trend Continues is that We Continually Fail to See the Simple Reality that We are Human.

Mistakes Will Happen.

We Will Fail.

Unless You Consider that Possible, You'll Never Be Prepared "When" They Go Wrong.

Which is Why We Continue to See Problems Grow Exponentially.

Until We Accept the Reality, the Problems will Simply Multiply.

The Solution to it All is to Slow Down and Ask Better Questions.

We Fail to See the Problems because We Fail to Ask the Right Questions that will Allow Us to Prevent those Problems.

They Say that a Failure To Plan is a Plan to Fail...

But More Important is that a Plan Based on the Wrong Questions has Already Failed.

A Plan without Understanding what the Problems and Failures Could Be is a Plan to Cause those Problems and Failures.

Everything That Can Go Wrong...

Will Go Wrong.

If You Never Question What Can Go Wrong?

You Unleash Chaos.

All because You Fail to Account for the One Reality We Always Face...

Our Own Fallibility.

But there is Something Powerful that can Occur when We Take Our Fallibility Into Account...

We Can Rise Above Our Faults.

But Only When We Truly Consider and Account for Our Fallibility.

Let Go of Your Hubris.

Truly Consider Our Fallibility Deeply and Completely.

Then, Rise Above.
