I ask because I have Seen this Play Out in Two Different Ways in Life...
And Both Results in Nearly Everyone Getting it Wrong...
Including Myself.
On the One End...
We Think that We Can Accomplish So Much in a Short Period of Time...
Our One Month...
Six Month...
And Even Twelve Month Plans...
All Tend to End the Same Way...
We Fail to Accomplish Nearly as Much as We Think is Possible.
There is So Much that We Fail to Account For...
The Struggles...
The Challenges...
The Parts of Our Plans Where Theory Fail to Match Reality.
All of these Seem to Make it More Difficult to Attain Our Short-Term Goals...
Far More Difficult than We Realize.
Yet...
If We Expand Our Goals...
Our Two Year...
Five Year...
And Especially Our Ten-Year Plans...
All Tend to End the Same Way...
We Either Give Up on the Plans Entirely because We Failed So Many Times in the Short-Term Plans...
Or...
We Completely Underestimate Our Potential and Go So Much Further than We Believed Possible.
What We Fail to Account For Is...
How Much We Can Grow...
The Opportunities We Never Expected...
The People We Meet Who Reveal New Paths We Never Would have Considered...
And Our Ability to Adapt.
On Both Ends of These, I have Completely Failed to See How Far I Can Go.
In My First Year in Business, I Felt I Could Hit 6-to-7 Figures in My Business...
But Missed it Completely.
I also Never Could have Imagined that Today I would be on a Billboard on Times Square, New York, on the Cover of Magazines, and Writing Daily Articles for Nearly 1,000 Days in a Row (Officially Tomorrow).
Never Even Crossed My Mind that These Would be Possible.
