Finding Your Voice - How To Unleash The Power Within

Finding Your Voice - How To Unleash The Power Within

It's Difficult Finding Your Voice.

We Live in a World that tells us to Sit Down...

Shut Up...

Listen...

But Rarely are we Asked to Use Our Voices.

Then this is mixed with Attacks on our Self-Esteem.

We are Told We Are Not Enough...

We'll Never be Enough...

No One Wants to Hear Us...

No One Cares...

Yet, there is an Innate Desire to be Heard.

An Innate Desire to Speak.

It becomes Very Difficult to Find Our Voice Amidst All of this.

I know I have had my own Struggles.

In all Honesty, sometimes I Still Struggle.

There are Days, even Weeks...

Where I'm Unsure How to Use My Voice.

Where I Do Not Know What to Say.

When I Struggle to Speak.

Yet, I Must.

I Write Daily.

One Article Each Day.

Where I Need My Voice.

So How Do I Do It?

What Do I Do to Find My Voice?

There are a few things that have Helped Me Over Time.

The First is Silence.

So often we Fail to Find our Voice because Too Many Other Voices are Infiltrating our Minds.

Your Voice becomes Drowned Out.

We Make Other's So Loud While Our Own Is Silenced.

Ironically, Silence Allows Our Voice to become Unsilenced.

There are different methods for this.

Meditation.

Prayer.

Running.

The Key is Outside Influences must Cease.

Give Your Voice an Opportunity.

Another Method is to Lean Into Your Emotions.

All Emotions have a Purpose.

They are Trying to Tell Us Something.

What Are Yours Saying?

There is Actually Science behind this.

Neurocardiology.

When we "Listen" to Our Emotions, we can attain "Coherence".

In Coherence, the Neurons Spread throughout our Body are better able to Communicate.

It gives Access to Other Parts of our Voice.

So Focus in on your Emotions.

Learn to Understand.

From here, we can look at our Energy (Mg-ATP).

To Speak, we need Energy, which in our Bodies is Mg-ATP.

Without Energy, it becomes Very Difficult to Speak.

It becomes Difficult to do Anything.

Energy is Key.

The More Energy we have, the Louder Our Voice can Become.

Without Energy, We Cower.

We Run.

We Freeze.

It is an Aspect of our Survival Instincts.

Our Voice is Secondary to Survival.

So, to Speak, We Cannot be in Survival Mode.

But Energy Alone Does Not push our Voice to its Limit.

What comes Next?

Flow States.

From a Psychophysiological Perspective, Flow is where we Feel Our Best, Think Most Clearly, and where our Voice becomes Most Powerful.

Why is that?

Interestingly, it is because Certain Parts of the Brain Shut Down.

Which Parts?

Those that Question.

Those that Doubt.

Those that Fear.

The Voices that Tell Us Our Worth Is "Less Than"?

All Shut Down in Flow.

This Allows our Voice to be Unleashed.

Unabashed.

Unrestricted.

Unhindered.

In Flow, that is where our Voice becomes Most Powerful.

However, sometimes Flow Alone is Not Enough.

Why?

When our Voice has been Silenced for a Long Period of Time, it is like an Arm that has been in a Cast.

It Becomes Weakened.

So, sometimes You Must Give Fuel Your Voice.

Like a Workout.

The easiest way to do this is to Learn.

But, it is not enough to "Just" Learn.

When you Learn you must then use your Voice.

What did You Learn?

What did it Mean to You?

What can You Connect it with?

As you Learn, You Give your Voice More to Speak About.

The More You Learn, the More Your Voice Has to Utilize.

This gives you the Opportunity to Discover where Your Voice Works Best.

Then, you can Experiment.

Often, there is a Voice we "Think" is our Voice Early On.

Yet, using it you Discover it does Not Feel "Quite Right".

So, Experiment.

Try Different Styles and Ways of Using Your Voice.

You'll Discover Some Experiments Work.

Others Will Fail.

But Every Experiment is Helpful as it Reveals More about Your Voice.

When You Combine these Methods, You'll Discover Your Voice.

Once You Find It, Use It.

Then, Never Stop.

Be Heard.
